Deritend supplies a huge range of services to the power industry, from emergency call-out maintenance of site equipment such as motors and gearboxes through to routine electrical and mechanical maintenance onsite and product supply.

The first area of specialty is the repair and rewind of large electric motors. Deritend can assess the health of a motor or generator of any size using the most advanced condition monitoring equipment.

Once assessed the motor can be removed, stripped down and completely rebuilt, using pre-formed windings of the very highest quality from Deritend’s own factory in Sheffield. Once the repair is completed, the machine can be re-installed by Deritend on-site teams, providing a full turnkey service.

The same can be said of gearboxes, Deritend is able to provide everything from advanced condition monitoring, to a full removal, repair, and re-installation service on extremely short lead times. Using in-house component supply and gear manufacturing capability, Deritend can also fabricate a complete replacement gearbox of any size.
