The Deritend Group Ltd offers a wide range of services including electro-mechanical repairs, rewinding of electric motors and associated equipment, spindle & servo drive repairs, automation & control repairs, mechanical repairs, pump repairs, aircraft motor & generator sub-component rewind and repair, induction heater repair, maintenance management, CNC & conventional machine tool maintenance, and preformed coil manufacture. The repair and refurbishment of power transmission systems from the initial strip inspection and diagnostic investigation of failure; through repair, replacement or manufacture of components and finally their assembly and test. The organisation offers an immediate breakdown repair service. The business has a special expertise in industrial gearboxes and mechanical process equipment. The general machining and fabrication of components to satisfy customer needs.

The Deritend Group Ltd believes that all aspects of its operations should be carried out in such a way as to have a positive impact on the environment; and by nature of our business, recovery, recycling and re-use of product forms a significant part of our operations. The organisation will control its activities in order to minimise any negative effect on the environment. In order to maintain these values the Group is working towards establishing an environmental management system based on the requirements of BS.EN.ISO14001: 2004. This will provide the framework for setting and reviewing objectives and targets.

  • developing objectives supported by detailed targets, to manage all potentially significant environmental impacts resulting directly from our operations;
  • providing all employees with the information, instruction and training required for working effectively in caring for the environment and training needs pertinent to this policy will also be identified and appropriately managed;
  • working in partnership with our suppliers to ensure effective environmental supply chain management and promote environmental best practices wherever possible with our suppliers; and
  • communicating to everyone working for or on behalf of the Group the requirements of our environmental policy
