Metal Fabrication

Deritend offers metal fabrication at a number of its UK workshops, including large fabrication and machine assembly projects at the new Large Rotating Machines production facility at Brandon Way, West Bromwich. 

The purpose built heavy engineering facility has a 32,000 sq ft workshop floor and three 20 ton cranes as well as other smaller ones. The site is permanently staffed, 24 hrs seven days a week.

Deritend is proud to provide one of the most comprehensive fabrication services in the UK for large gearboxes and heavy machinery. It provides a full service, including design, build and assembly, for all of its clients.

The size of the facility and the skill of the team mean that large and technical projects are possible. Recent successes include the build and assembly of a billet transfer rig for a titanium forge and the fabrication of two 14 ton helical gearboxes.
