Half a century for our Ken

Date Posted: 16/07/18
The year 1968; the Ford Escort is launched, Dad's Army airs for the first time on the BBC, and a young man named Ken Leese began working at a company named Deritend at their Walsall Rolling Mill Works.

Fifty years later, we're sad to be saying goodbye to Ken after he retired on Friday, but delighted to celebrate half a century's service with the company at a presentation at our West Bromwich branch on Friday.

We'd like to thank Ken for his countless years of service and hard work, and wish him a very happy, healthy and joyful retirement.
